CMC Nomination and Voting Procedures
Nomination Process:
1. Coaches will nominate players based only on the 9 CMC performances of the 2015 season. Only the statistics generated from the performances should be included in the player bio. Out of county and tournament games should not be included.
2. Divisional First Team considerations will be nominated, voted on, and finalized first.
3. Divisional Second Team considerations will be nominated after the Divisional First Teams have been finalized. Coaches may elect to put First Team nominees that were not selected to the First Team on the Second Team ballot. They may also elect to NOT include these players.
4. Consensus All-CMC considerations will be nominated after the First and Second Teams have been finalized. Consensus All-CMC nominees will come ONLY from the pool of 22 players selected to the two Divisional First Teams.
5. Once the nomination process “goes live” you will have 48 hours to complete your nomination forms.
6. Coaches who do not complete the nomination form within the 48 hour time frame will not be able to nominate players for post-season recognition.
7. You do not need to save your nomination form since it saves automatically in the Google Drive. Once you have completed your form you can simply close the window.
8. Once all nomination forms have been collected, the voting process will begin.
9. Each nominated player will be on the ballot with the biographical information provided by the coach.
10. Players will be listed on the ballot in the order of the nomination form and final standings of the CMC Divisions.
Voting Process:
1. COACHES ARE NOT PERMITTED TO VOTE FOR THEIR OWN NOMINATED PLAYERS.
2. All 10 CMC coaches will complete the online ballot for all CMC teams regardless of division affiliation.
3. The voting process will be a 24 hour window. Coaches who do not cast votes within that 24 hour window lose their ability to vote.
4. Every coach must vote for a goalkeeper.
5. You will have 10 total votes which you will cast for the “best” 10 field players (regardless of position) based on coach-provided statistical/biographical information and individual opinion.
6. Once you have cast your ballot please hit the submit button.
